Howdycon 2026 is officially happening.

Join us for a weekend of fun and a whole lot of suppression as some of the world’s biggest SPs descend upon New London, Connecticut for a special event raising money for the Michael J. Rinder Aftermath Foundation.

Hosted by The Underground Bunker, the weekend will include speakers and a live recording of the Group Therapy podcast; as well as plenty of time to socialize and all in the name of a good cause.

The weekend’s agenda will be announced soon, but we can promise you this is one you won’t want to miss. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Tony Ortega, journalist and Editor in Chief at The Underground Bunker
  • Claire Headley, former high-ranking executive and President of the Michael J. Rinder Aftermath Foundation
  • Alex Barnes-Ross (Apostate Alex), ex-Scientologist and Editor of Scientology Business
  • Phil Jones, the world’s worst Scientologist
  • Patty Moher, former Scientology spy
  • Chris Shelton, ex-Scientologist and cult expert
  • and of course, your usual gang of jokers and degraders behind the Group Therapy podcast.

Saturday 19th September 2026
Howdycon 2026 begins. Speaker sessions, panel discussions and a whole bunch of joking and degrading. (All day event)

TICKET INFORMATION

General admission tickets get you access to Howdycon 2026. The ticket price includes food during the welcome party on Friday 18th September and a buffet-style lunch on Saturday 19th September.

Tickets do not include accommodation, which must be booked separately.

VIP tickets include special edition Howdycon 2026 merchandise.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you change your mind or are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket, please let us know as this is a very limited capacity event.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation must be booked separately. There are plenty of accommodation options in and around New London, CT. However we have arranged a group discount with a local hotel.

Due to limited availability, we recommend you book early. Details on the discount will be shared with ticket holders after purchase.

This event will be an opportunity to raise money for the Michael J. Rinder Aftermath Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit which helps people set up new lives after leaving the Church of Scientology.

All proceeds will be donated to the Aftermath Foundation, and we encourage you to consider donating directly through their website.

This event is not being organized or hosted by the Foundation, but is a fundraiser with the goal of helping raise awareness of the important work they do.
